Our History
Greeley was founded in 1854 with the arrival of the first settlers. The city was incorporated in 1881.

The Recycling Collection Trailer will be in Greeley the 4th Monday - Thursday of each month.
For your convenience, Anderson County maintains a recycling collection trailer that is routed between six communities within the county on a monthly basis. County residents are invited to place their recyclable materials in the trailer while it is located in the community closest to them. We request that recyclables be clean, separated and unbagged with lids removed prior to placing in the trailer. Materials accepted include the following:

• Newspaper
• Cardboard
• Aluminum cans
• Milk jugs
• Pop bottles
• Water bottles
